Wild Boar - eye to eye
This picture of a wild boar (Sus scrofa) was taken in Eastern Poland. I was strawling through the undergrowth of a forest, and suddenly I was surrounded by 10 or more wild boar, probably a group of yearlings with their mother. Mother was a bit nervous and tried to get her children away from me by walking around me in a wide circle while making classical "knor"-noises. This animal was the only one I was able to take a picture of in the thick vegetation. The animal just stood there wile the others moved away, looking at me eye to eye.
